In short: Naruska Keep runs entirely on your device. It does not have user accounts, does not send your data anywhere, and does not use the internet to operate. The information below explains this in full, including the one technical detail (a notifications component bundled with the app framework) worth being transparent about even though it is not actively used.

This Privacy Policy explains how Naruskan Palvelut (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles data in connection with the Naruska Keep mobile application (“the App”). This policy applies specifically to Naruska Keep. We are committed to being transparent about exactly what the App does and does not do with your information.

3. What the App Does

Naruska Keep is a maintenance-tracking log for equipment and property you own — vehicles, machinery, tools, and household systems. You enter information about your items, log service history, record usage readings, and attach photos or documents, all for your own reference.

4. Data Collection & Storage

The App does not collect personal data and does not transmit any data to us or to any third party.

Because your data never leaves your device, we have no ability to access, view, back up, or recover it. If you uninstall the App or lose your device without a separate backup, that data is not recoverable by us, because we never had it.

5. Notifications

The App can show you local reminders — for example, a seasonal maintenance nudge or a due-date alert — that are generated and scheduled entirely on your device based on the information you've entered. These notifications do not involve any server and are not personalized by us; the App itself decides when to show them, using only data already stored locally.

The underlying app framework includes a standard mobile notifications component (Firebase Cloud Messaging) as part of its build configuration. This component is present in the App but is not actively used to send or receive anything over the network in the current version — all notifications in the App today are scheduled locally on-device, not pushed from a server. We note this for transparency, consistent with platform data-safety disclosure requirements, even though no data is transmitted through it in this version.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is a general-purpose equipment maintenance tool not directed at children. Since the App collects no personal data of any kind from any user, there is no data collected from children either.

8. Changes to This Policy

If Naruska Keep's data practices change in the future — for example, if optional cloud sync or accounts are introduced in a later version — this policy will be updated in advance of that change to accurately describe the new data handling, and the App's store listing will reflect the update. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

9. Your Rights

Because the App does not collect or store any personal data outside your own device, there is no personal data held by us for which to exercise access, correction, or erasure requests. Any data within the App is already fully under your control on your device — you can view, edit, export, or delete it at any time from within the App itself, or remove all of it by uninstalling the App.
